I had watched the sun shine on the horizon
realised how it would be like to cast the first shadow..
just like i ever wanted ,i had my own rainbow
all to myself outside my bedroom window...
It was a better life and i pretended
that it was getting better by the day...
i believe forever that the world was made for me
just to take my pick and throw the rest away
oh girl ,forever i wonder
would i have loved you if i had met you yesterday.
the rains they used to quench my parched spirits
now they dampen them
and the colours of the rainbow giving up to the cloud black
the orange rays of the sun gone brown
the dawn of the morning setting down..
life never stopped behaving its way
for anything so good would always go away
it can get better as long as you dont want it to stay
just like i want my illusions of truth
the things that were goin my way

Very good rhythm and captivating verses. Although I believe u did not intend to write it on a serious note ... ( I don't know whether this post has some true connection ), it impressed me. Esp the picturesque description, great imagery.
