Rahmans Back!

BLUE -- A R Rahman was sure to kick but.......

but..te Butt wasnt kicked really...i really wanted him to , oh yes i swear .I was sure that he would break all boundaries with BLUE , especially since he got Kylie into this whole thing..But NO.NO..NO! ....
Somehow , somewhere, i felt that A R wasnt really gettin all the freedom he needed in this movie..
BLUE :
1. The blue theme song , is just a normal theme song , with an absolutely fantastic techno added to it.Now thats always trademarked rahman stuff.Liked it , dint luv it :( .I donno y i always want kick ass stuff from him :) .
2.The song Bhoola Tujhe is a stunner ! The song starts of with a very smooth note ,which turns into a nice soothing sax/cello kinda score( i donno wat instrument is playin at the back) ,reminding you of a ship sailing off the shore.Perfect mixing with the guitar as well..Its one of my favourite Rahman mixes ever ! Absolute feel and melody in just 10 seconds.Now that always is Rahman ...And the song is brilliant in every way.The interludes , the way the song floats from a slow ,a-little-mono-tonic mood to a very full fledged energetic one.Again effortless.
3.The other songs are all good , but i did not find any of them special.esp the tunes.I dont understand the logic behind any of the songs.The lyrics i found very normal.And shitty.....
Chiggy wiggy is Okay though...but not genius.And Rahmans tried to put in the piano everywhere, but the rest of the songs and the mixing hides the whole of it.Sadly this album is 6/10 for which bhoola tujhe gets 6/5 !


INTERVENTION !!
Forgot the song ,yaar mila thaa saiyya..Now this is nice .Udit narayan kicks ass and so does madhushree...Absolut awesomeness...but still its only 4/5 .. :)

And Life as i was sayin, brings along with it a big stinkin , amusing,breeding , proliferating litter of changes and mysteries.Now , of all that crap i just said, I find many of them worth pursuing.

The above graph,which is quite uncomplicated in its complexity ,even more uncomplicated than the complex set of stupid complex complexities being complexly built by me ,reminds me of what might also happen in my Life...

Girls , are after all ,very intriguing objects in a mans ,and sometimes in a womans life..They are the quintessential hope that , one man carries in his heart atleast for a finite period in his entire lifetime and if not lucky enough , he gets to carry that Quintal-unessential to the end of his life as well.Now , lets not digress.As i was saying.A woman is a mans way to show the world that he is not a loser,the way to show that he can succeed in this rather entertaining and at the same time , if looked at from a very farsighted angle --- married men have this angle quite figured out at their disposal anytime ,available for free sale as advice,no one take em for the same reason--- can look very very scary....

So what is it that women do...? what causes love ? WTF.no one knows...all iknow is that a beautiful girl can make you forget the last beautiful girl you saw, the work thats left for the day,the breakfast for the day,lunch for the day and sometimes if lucky enuf you will manage to have the dinner for the day - with her .Beautiful girls, may it be in form or spirit or in heaven (metaphor for angels . .:)) will always act as the fountain of mana in the magic that is life ..oh yes.You donno y u love them , nor do you know y u live for them....

Scaling the himalayas and my drums teacher...

You can always stand back and make a boolean decision on whether you can scale the himalaya or not.Its way too easy to condense the whole process in the mind and ignore all teh small fringe errors to come up with an answer that involves thresholding the Possibles against the Impossibles.What you judge to be impossible and possible can change based on how much excess food you had on the lunchbreak , who shouted at you 1/2 an hr back,how many times you got pummeled by your manager on a workday,what the previous day was (sunday always good ) etc.

 

If you are still in the water about what i am saying..well its just my way of saying "Its too dumb to be imagining the situation in your head than actually doing it..."

If you think you cant play the guitar,stop thinking , play it.

If you cant crunch numbers,stop thinking about it and start crunching until you are good at it.

If you cant impress a chick,stop trying to impress her ! :P - The only exception to the rule, liberty of breaking this is inversely propotional to the number of big brothers the girl has.

 

So much to be said.All springin up from my drum teachers statement ":THers only one thing ....Practice.Stick practice takes care of everything else" -- Legend.

Well, recession is having its effect on me.

Firstly , u know that ur not ur managers favourite and u got so much stuff to do and bloody hell - even ur managers got a heck of a lot of work from his manager and so on, and your project is only less baked up than a solidified chicken broth....... AND even MORE SMELLY !!

1. Chords picked up == almost null...mayb some 3-4 fundas on sus chords and shit.

2.Songwriting == again. ..meagre.Best song has been an almost B-SIde ka baap B-side - "Would i have loved you if had met you yesterday" ...Sad sad state of affairs well explained.THough the song is a legend in my books....:P

Now lifes all about doing it and dumping it and going along as if nothing has happened.Brushing of all the shit of my shoulders on the weekends and squandering like a squirrel in its puberty, virtually (not literally ) , humpin all that comes my way (thatt means goin hyper about all the stuff -- like movies,songs ,movies songs,coffee,coffee day,games,Linux,guitar,drums,girls,more girls,hotter girls in brigade road....___)

 

-Lifes also about tolerating your roomies,who can get as crazy and weird as you.Well even weireder....but in our world , being weird is normal ! (FYI --- but being more weird doesnt count as more normal.)

- Getting the sarcastic kick out of Sach Ka Saamna,

- Watching the lamest shows on TV when you are jobless

- Talking pointlessly about failed relationships...and NOTHING !.<this is cryptic.only my roomie know..so ignore it if u r nt HIM !>.. (this is being practised upto today like some kind of an alcoholic drink... by my roomie ie).
