Thats how my life has been like (Class wise, old indian istyle.)
Class 4 : My uncle thinks that i have a sense of rhythm (yea.i luv my uncle.he made me feel so special) . My dad enrolls me for mrudangam classes. The class is like an hr away from home.I dont want people messing with me on saturdays.I quit after 1 year.
Class 5: My mom enrolls me for music classes ( again someone thought that i cud sing..ehmm.i dint.it sounded horrible when i recorded it and played it back on my tape recorder.nothing like what i heard inside my head).I quit after 3 years. The worst part is that , all the way till my 9th standard, my voice never broke....i dont think that it has broken , even now.... :P
Class 6 : Guitar Classes : haha..comedy.never learnt anything except "Tujhe dekha tho " , in my guitar .. my dad still pokes fun at me for those times.. :)
Class 8 : Interest re-emerges in music.Gets drowned coz ppl thought that i sounded like a girl.
Class 9 -10 : Not much action... A lot of discovery channel
Class 11-12 : Cultural events, group songs , beetles- " cant buy me love " , i am the only male singer in a group of 4 ( how i wish tat would repeat NOW).My voice must not have broken then.... :|
College : aah..IIT , Kharagpur , spring fest .. rock rock , metal metal..loads of headbanging with buddy Vivek and we end up being rock music fans...and i say goodbye to indian music.Total ignorify my Cultural Arts teacher after 2 years of compulsory classes and there i end up learning nothing....Some music composition on the guitar , inspired by some nice blog poems.......Later on in the 4th year , i realise tat m gonna start working and i just have 1 month to start playing some music...Some night outs on Prep Leaves in the music room with my juniors and hence some memory worthy times....
Now : Nothing to do...Programming - dislike , photography - amateur , drums- amateur ,guitar - amateur,singing -amateur,composition - very amateur
Too many hobbies to count...Or is it too few ??
:O

Photography - Interested, haven't kicked it off yet.
Guitar - n00b
Programming - Love doing it, but hate the fact that it leaves time for nothing else. :-\
You don't have to be an expert at something to be passionate about it. :) And the last line, it's a common problem. We all have scattered interests. :)
