somethings change..

Like my interest in politics,or world affairs to be more precise has gone up a little more ever since we enocountered around 6 bomb blasts here and ever since the taliban started making a move in pakistan.The taliban , to me were nothing but a bunch of mad ass extremists who were just trying to show that they had a bunch of weapons that posed no threat to Global war lords like the US and the soviet.I was only enlightened about them when i heard our so called arch rival Pervez Musharraf ,when he delivered a speech in reply to an umpteen number of questions posed by the elite indian junta.He called for peace obviously,a request that i believe will never fall on any deaf /non deaf indian ears.However , he sounded very candid,especially when he talked of how extremism and especially how the TALIBAN came into being.

The taliban are believed to be trained,nourished and supplied by the US during the 1980s for waging wars against the soviet and the likes in Asia.These people however ,were never rehabilitated once the wars were over.The US simply dumped them there and they flourished,eventually becoming a pain to the rest of the countries ,especially pakistan.

How sad it can be....You may think that this itself is a tall claim by the pakistan to get world to sympathize with them.However, its true and evident that the taliban are slowly eating up pakistan  and it remains to see if their army can cope with it.

My friend mr Thor suggests that it would be a good idea to seal off the "Port of no hope" aka karachi, so that the talibans would not have any source to traffic materials.

--Hoping that the pakistanis survive this.(the pakistani public ie..donno if i still like the isi or the army.)
